Is it a camper? Is it a day van? Honestly—it’s a bit of both. This cleverly designed Ford E350-based Pleasureway RV is full of surprises. First off, it’s surprisingly spacious (yes, we know that sounds like estate agent talk, but it really is). I’m 6'3" and can stand up inside with no problem, and there’s plenty of room to move about.

Originally imported from Japan, it’s in fantastic shape—preserved beautifully and properly used, not just sat gathering cobwebs in someone’s drive. It’s done what we’d call “good low mileage” and has clearly been cared for. We’ve maintained it for the owner and recently fitted a complete new front braking system, so it's ready to roll.

Inside, it’s got everything you need:

Rear electric sofa that transforms into a generous double bed

Swivel front seats and a flexible table that can be set front or back

Proper toilet and shower room

Cooker, sink, and microwave

On-board generator

Roof-mounted air conditioning (plus cab A/C for the drive)

Under the bonnet is a sweet-running 5.4L Ford V8. It’s smooth, strong, and has more than enough pull—easily cruises at motorway speeds (yes, even 90+ if you’re that way inclined). MPG? Expect around 15–18, depending on how gently (or not) you drive it.
